Trainings and training materials

One of the great barriers in deciding to run for office is the fear that you have no idea what you're doing.  Many smart, active, enthusiastic community members are so daunted by the thought of running for office, they write it off as impossible.

That's why training candidates to be efficient campaigners and effective legislators is central to our mission here at Wisconsin Progress. We provide soup to nuts trainings for new candidates as well as more targeted trainings for those who just need to brush up on one or two skills. We cover the fundamentals of  fundraising, message development, and voter communication, but we are also happy to take suggestions of other topics you might want to see covered.

These training materials are available to all of our endorsed candidates and are available online so you can refer to them any time and any place!
