Getting Ready to Run

Have you ever thought about running for local office? Get all the answers you need to make the decision here. This two-hour training will give you the basics on campaign demands, landscape, and rules. You will do a self-evaluation, learn basic campaign skills, and first steps if / when you decide to run.

Advanced Local Campaign

This day-long training will teach you all the fundamentals of a winning campaign. It is designed for candidates and their teams, as well as anyone who’d like to help candidates win.

We have concluded our spring 2024 Advanced Local Campaign Training season but invite you to request a training if you have a group of people interested in running for office in 2025.

We love going on the road, but because trainings are costly for us, we will not come out to additional locations unless we can count on at least 10 attendees joining in. If you have a need for an additional Getting Ready to Run training or an Advanced Local Campaign Training, please email us at info@wisconsinprogress.org with the subject marked as “Training Request” so that our staff may assist you in setting up the desired training.
